Looks like reptile Maria Miller has finally been identified as belonging to the Common Purpose variety of Snake by a number of snake spotting experts.
The Common Purpose Snake conceals itself from its prey by blending in with its environment. The snake is usually of a mottled appearance but the identifying colours are purple and green.
Anyone who encounters a Common Purpose Snake is asked to telephone the Daily Mail who are running a series on snakes at the moment.
